About K.XIII.F
K.XIII.F (Tevainui FROGIER) is a visual artist from French Polynesia who was born in Tahiti & raised in Arutua (Tuamotu Archipelago) where her grandfather built a pearl farm.
K stands for Kokichi Mikimoto, the inventor of the cultured Pearl and Tevainui's former mentor from whom she learned so much about pearl farming, which she's been passionate about since childhood. XIII refers to her birthdate & F to her family name.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of French Polynesia & a Master of Science majorjng in Aquaculture from James Cook University Townsville, in Australia.
Townsville is renowned for being the city of Aboriginal people and puts the emphasis on their arts. As such, she immersed herself in this environment and developed a passion for this very special technique.
Through her art, the artist succeeds in highlighting her passion for surfing, the sea and nature at large. Tevainui develops her technique around symbolic pointillism and presents an iconography in black and white sometimes combined with a colourful world.

Her work was first collectively exhibited at the Galerie Winkler in 2017 and in 2021 at the Galerie des Tropiques in Tahiti. Some of her artworks were also sold in Paris & Hongkong.
THE 2x22 Project
The 2x22 project is two galleries of 22 master pieces :
• One gallery with 22 paintings for showcasing K.XIII.F work (this gallery)
• Another one with 22 drawings created in 2016 before she get her paintings exhibited in the galleries and available for sale as NFTs from October the 22nd 2021.
It's a collaboration with K.XIII.F andDream In Tahiti, a new tech agency playing with 360° & classic photographies and videos to bring you the first real NFT project from Tahiti, French Polynesia. ___

For Maiko, the master number 22 is known as the Master Builder. It symbolizes personal evolution and advancement, the Universe’s great possibilities, creativity and a future one can barely dare to dream about.
